We are proud to announce imondi as the winner of the Environmental Impact Award at the 2019 China Social Impact Award; as organised by the British Chamber and the United Nations.

 

 

The construction industry is renowned as one of the largest contributors to climate-change, landfill waste, deforestation and pollution. This issue is especially prevalent within Asia and China where there has been phenomenal growth in construction over the last few decades.

As winner of the award, imondi through their obsessive focus on providing sustainably-sourced and sustainably manufactured wood-flooring & wall cladding to the construction industry globally, was effectively judged to be the foremost company in China, in terms of their positive impact on the environment.

2019 China Social Impact Awards, organised by the British Chamber & United Nations. Influenced by the UNDP’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, companies will compete for 7 different awards. Each award will be available to companies in two categories, Corporate and SME. The winners will be selected by an independent judicial panel.
