Recently the concept of ‘farm to table’ dining hasbecome prevalent in Singapore, with manyrestaurants workingwith localfarmers to increase the amount of local produce used. In spite of the complications emerging from the limited amount of arable land available, the concept is currently all the rage.
The embodiment of this is the ‘Open Farm Community’ project located on Minden Road, a quiet corner of the city, with an open city farm in 35,000ft2 of space.
The Open Farm restaurant, designed like a greenhouse and fully integrated with the nature surrounding it, uses imondi reclaimed floors, Salvaged Pine Natural, Plank, to provide a true sense of being at one with nature.
