imondi x MASS DESIGN丨Are you aware of the environmental impact of your design?

Sustainability is a very important brand value of imondi. We want to use this topic to understand how designers apply the concept and application of sustainability in design. Our colleague Emanuele visited MASS DESIGN and had a conversation with the designers JASMIN ONG & BORJA TRUJILLO on this topic.

MASS DESIGN places materiality and functionality at the core of design. We seek a symbiosis of old and new, creating modern functions in original spaces that are imbued with the meaning they derive from their contexts. Our practice works across the disciplines of architecture, interior, landscape, product and brand design on projects of varying scales and has extensive experience in market strategy, brief development, and programming.

L'ORTO--Project using imondi product

L'ORTO, a recent collaboration project between imondi and MASS DESIGN is an Italian restaurant, which located on Shengsi Island in Zhoushan. The decoration of the project is elegant, full of Italian style, and it also incorporates local island elements. Although it is located on a remote island, it is said that the food in the store can reach the level of the top western restaurant in Shanghai.
